London was a home, a workplace and an endless source of stories.
A city of different worlds
I moved to London in 2006. Few places bring so many cultures, accents, professions and ambitions into everyday contact. That variety made the city stimulating, even when life was busy.
Working across industries
My London years included kitchen design, technology, photography and private-hire driving. Each kind of work revealed a different side of the city. Designing a kitchen requires careful listening; driving people across London gives you a different view of its neighbourhoods and rhythms.
The creative connection
London also supported my interest in photography and modelling. The city offers an extraordinary mixture of people and visual environments, and I enjoyed the way creative work could sit alongside more technical projects.
What a city teaches you
London rewards preparation but also demands flexibility. A typical day can involve people with entirely different expectations. The ability to communicate clearly and remain practical matters just as much as technical skill.
Still connected
Although my daily life has changed, London remains an important part of my personal and professional history. It is a city I associate with work, opportunity and many memorable encounters.
